RESOLUTION NO. 3081
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT TO
UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING COMPANY (REVISED PLAN
OF THE BELAIR TRACT)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Director of Public Works, having filed a report of his recommendations on the
application of UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING CON[PANY for a grading permit, the City
Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk to issue to UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING COMPANY
a grading permit to grade the property described as Belair Tract, adjacent to Airport
Boulevard and Belair Shipyard. Said grading permit shall provide that the grading be
done in accordance with the Director of Public Works' report and recommendation dated
September 15, 1960, and the application of Utah Construction and Mining Company and
the revised gradng plan by Carl E. Kirker, Civil Engineer, dated July 28, 1960, and
revised August 24, 1960, entitled "Proposed Grading Plan,a~lair Tract". Said report
and recommendation and grading plan are hereby referred to?Sy this reference made a
part hereof. Said permit shall contain provisions indemnifying and holding the City,
its elective officials, officers and employees harmless from claims and further require
the conducting of the grading work in a manner that will not injure the property in
the vicinity of the land to be graded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of
defraying the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public
Works in the sum of $10.00 prior to issuing the permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain by
inspection that said grading is performed in accordance w~h the permit and upon its
completion, shall file with the City Clerk a report stating the results of said inspec-
tion and certifying that the grading has been performed in accordance with the permit.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of September, 1960, by the
following vote:
