A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT - IMPROVEMENT
OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD, RAILROAD AVENUE, WEST ORANGE
AVENUE AND BADEN AVENUE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Calif-
ornia, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 19th day of
September, 1960, for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as des-
cribed and specified in Resolution No. 3084 entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTH-
ORIZING THE WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD,
RAILROAD AVENUE, WEST ORANGE AVENUE AND BADEN AvRquE".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby r~ ect all of said proposals or bids
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby.awards the contract.for doing the work
and improvements and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: Lowrie Paving Company at the
unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter
into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and
approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1960,
by the following vote:
AYES,
Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
