A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING MAYOR ANDREW ROCCA,
MAYOR OF SAID CITY, TO SIGN THE PROPOSED PETITION
OF CITIES TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAN MATEO
COUNTY REQUESTING THE UNDERTAKING OF PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ADOPTION OF THE BRADLEY-BURNS SALES TAX
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
Mayor Andrew Rocca be and he is hereby authorized to sign the proposed petition of
cities to the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County requesting the undertaking of
proceedings for the adoption of the Bradley-Burns Sales Tax providing said petition
allows for the retention of no more than five per cent (5%) of collections by said
County.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held this 17th day of October, 1960, by the following vote:

Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahem
