A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
A CONTRACT FOR DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES KNOWN AS 325 GRAND
AVENUE ANDFURTHER AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
A PARKING FACILITY UPON COMPLETION OF SAID DEMOLITION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to negotiate a contract for demolition
of structures and clearing of premises known as 325 Grand Avenue upon obtaining possess-
ion of same from the present occupants, C. Swett'and E. N. Swett, providing the cost
of said demolition and clearance is within the statutory limit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for the construction and improvement for the proposed parking
facility upon completion of demoliton.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 17th day of October, 1960, by the following
vote:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern
NOES, Councilman ~milio Cortesi
ABSENT, None
