A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR
STATE ADMINISTRATION OF LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
said .City in the form entitled, "Agreement for State Administration of Local Sales
and Use Taxes", (S-527-Rev 2 (4-59), contract with the State Board of Equalization
for the performance of all functions incidental to the administration and expiration
of the City Ordinance No. 457 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO IMPOSING A CITY SALES AND USE TAX PROVIDING FOR THE PERFORMANCE BY THE STATE
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION OF ALL FUNCTIONS INCIDENT TO THE ADMINISTRATION, OPERATION AND
COLLECTION OF THE SALES AND USE TAX HEREBY IMPOSED, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATIONS THEREOF".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City and the City Clerk is in-
structed to attest to his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held'on the 5th day of December, 1960,
by the following vote:

Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
