A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNICATING TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIF~ COMMISSION THE CITY'S POSI- TION WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY TO INSTALL AUTOMATIC CROSSING GATFS AT GRAND AEENUE CROSSING, NUMBER E-9.3 - BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the PUblic Utilities Commission of the State of California be advised that said City Council is opposed to the installation of automatic crossing gates at Grand Avenue CrosSing Number E-9.3 in the City of South San Francisco and that this Resoltuion, together with a copy of the report of the Director of Public Works and Chief of Police contained in Inter-Office Memorandum dated January 31, 1961, entitled "Proposed Automatic Crossing ~ates - Grand Avenue Crossing of Southern Pacific Tracks" be forwarded to the Public Utilities Commission of the Sta~e of California in accordance with their request of January 25, 1961. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of February, 1961, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Andrew Rocca, PatPick E.
