HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3147-1961RESOLUTION NO. 3147 A RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF EAST HARRIS AVENUE AND THE EAST PORTION OF LAWRENCE AVENUE - INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT 2-C ZONE 3 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that 1. The City Council did, on the 19th day of December, 1960, adopt its Resolution No. 3122 of Intention to Vacate East Harris Avenue and the East Portion of Lawrence Avenue, ~blic streets in the City of South San Francisce, as said streets are shown on the map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park, Unit. No. 2-C", which map was recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo on February 25, 1959, in Book 50 of Maps, at pages 31, 32 and 33. 2. Said Resolution recited that proceedings were being undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, for vacating said streets. 3- Said Resolution of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled "Notice of Proposed Street Vacation of East Harris Avenue and the East Portion of Lawrence Avenue", 'were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from the affidavits of publication and posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 4. Monday, the 16th day of January, 1961, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of South San Francisco, were fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation might appear before said Council and be heard. ' 5. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were made, or filed, against~said proposed vacation. 6. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San FranciSco that said East Harris Avenue and the East Portion of Lawrence Avenue be and the same is hereby vacated. 7. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this resolution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w as regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Franciscoat a regular meeting held this 20th day of February, 1961 by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Andrew Rocca, Patrick E.
