A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING
RF~OMMENDATIONS AND REPORT OF THE PLAN-
NING COMMISSION FOEWARDED ~Y RESOLUTION
NO. 1361 OF SAID COMMISSION REZONING

~EASu the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco, after hearings and proceedings
in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California and City Ordinance No. 353, as amended,
has duly filed its recommendations and report to rezone the parcel of land from an unclassified district or
U District to a neighborhood commercial district or C-1 District, said property being more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, and
WH~EAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to approve said ~ezoning
and endorse it to evidence that it has been adopted hy the City Council,
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby
approve the recommendations and report of the Planning Commission of said City to amend Zoning Ordinance No.
353, as amended, and in particular Section ~ 2.2 of said Ordir~ce mo as to rezone that parcel described in
Exhibit "A", which exhibit is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, from an unclassified
district or U District ~ to a neighborhood commercial district or C-1 District; and further orders tb~ 'endorse-
ment of said recommendations and report by the signature of the Mayor of said City and the attestation
thereto by the City Clerk to evidence that said recommendations and report have been adopted by the City
Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED and ordered that the City Council does hereby order the drafti~g of an
Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 353, as amended, and in particular Section 2.2 of said Ordinance
to effect said zoning change.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and .adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 2Oth day of
March 1961, by the following vote:

EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 3149 REZONING
PARCEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 1361
That parcel of land situate or lying within the City of South San Francisco, County of San
Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
· BEGINNING at a point where the north esterlyline of Block Lettered "B" intersects the
northwesterly line of Country Club Drive, as said Block and Drive are shown on the map
entitled "MAP NO. 1 COUNTRY CLUB PARK SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", filed in the office
of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California on May 9, 1941 in Book 23
of Maps at pages 54, 55 and 56; thence from said point of beg'~z~ning, along the northeasterly
line of said Block Lettered "B" and its ~rolongation, North 31~ 15' West 1§O feet to the
true point of beginning of the lands to be described herein; thence from said true point
of ~eginning, continuing North 31° 15' West 275 feet; thence North 58° 45' East 270.17
feet to the southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real, as established by Deed from Mary Janeiro
et al, to the State of California, dated January 26, 1956 and recorded July 2, 19%~in
Book 3052 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 568 (6~087N); thence along said
southwesterly line, South 31° 15' East 275 feet; thence South 58~ 45' West 270.17 feet to
the true point of beginning.
