HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3175-1961RESOLUTION NO. 3175 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE TREASURER TO RENT A SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX OR VAULT BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Treasurer of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, be and he is/are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name of the City of South San Francisco to rent a safe from said bank in its safety deposit Vaults at its South San Francisco office and execute and deliver to said bank in connection therewith such agreements and other instruments as said bank may require and such officers may approve by their execution and delivery thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that E. P. Kaufman, City Treasurer, and Jo J. Bonalanza, Deputy City Treasurer, of this corporation has right of access to said safe and contents thereof and may remove any and all of such contents and surrender said safe deposit box and release all rights and claims thereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such authority shall be deemed to be retroactive and all such acts heretofore undertaken by such person(s) as authorized above are hereby ratified and confirmed; that the Secretary or any Assistant Secretary of this corporation is hereby authorized and directed to certify to said Bank the following: (a) a copy of these Resolutions; (b) the names and signatures of the officer(s) and person(s) referred to in said Resolutions and authorized to have access to the safe and contents as therein provided; and (c) if and when any change is made in the personnel holding any office, title or other designation so authorized, the fact of such change and the name and signature of each new officer or person; that these Resolutions and each such certification shall remain in full force and effect, and said Bank is authorized to rely and act thereon until it shall receive, at its Office where the safe so rented is maintained, either a certified copy of a further Resolution affecting these Resolutions or a further certification as above provided for, as the case may be. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 1st day of May, 1961, by the following vote: Ayes, Noes, Absent, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahern, Emilio Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan. None. None. ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI City Clerk
