A RESOLUTION OF TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ABANDONING TEE STORM DRAIN EASEMENT - LOT NO. l, BLOCK NO. 4, VIEW
MONT TERRACE
WHEREAS, a storm drain easement was dedicated to the City of South San Francisco on the
20th day of January, 1958, by the recording of that certain subdivision m~p entitled, "View Mont
Terrace, South San Francisco, California", recorded in Volume 48 of Maps, Official Records of
San Mateo County, at page 20, and
WHEREAS, ten (10) feet of said storm drain easement, more particularly described as
follows:

BEGINNING at a point at the southeast corner of Lot No. 1, Block No. 4, View Mont Terrace
Subdivision iu the City of South San Francisco; thence proceeding in a northeasterly
direction North 15° 33' 00" East a' distance of l0 feet to the true ~oint of beginning;
thence turning and proceeding in a northwesterly direction North 74u 27' 00" West a
distance of 99.75 feet to a point; thence turning iua northeamterly direction and follow-
iug the 155 foot radius of a curve for a distance of 10.5 feet (plu~ or minus) to a point;
thence turning and proceeding in a southeasterly direction South 7~v 27' O0"East for a
distance of 95.71 ~e6t to a point; thence turning and proceeding in a Southwesterly
direction South 15 33' 00" West for a distance of l0 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
has not been used for the purposes for which i~ was dedicated or acquired and is unnecessary for
present and prospective public use by said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco having not used said
ten (10) feet of the storm drainage easement over, across and through Lot l, Block ~, View Mout
Terrace, South San Francisco, California, recorded iu Volume 48 of Maps, Official Records of San Mateo
County, at page 20, more particularly described hereluabove, and determining that said easement is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use by said City, does hereby abandon the ten (10) feet
of the storm drainage easement over, across and through Lot 1, Block 4, as hereinabove more particularly
described.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said vacation and abandonment shall not release, vacate or
abandon any other easements granted or in use over Lot 1, Block 4, View Mont Terrace.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required documents be recorded by the City Clerk to clear
the Grantor's property of the easement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held
ou the 19th day of June, 1961, by the following vote:
