HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3222-1961RESOLUTION NO. 3222 A RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION PORTION OF SAN BRUNO ROAD - PERSON AND SWANSON INDUS- TRIAL PARK RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Cali- fornia, and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that 1. The City Council did, on the 15th day of May, 1961, adopt its Resolu- tion No. 3184 of Intention to Vacate Portion of San Bruno Road, as shown on that certain plat showing said portion of San Bruno Road to be vacated, which plat is on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 2. Said Resolution recited that proceedings were being undertaken pur- suant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, for vacating said portion of said street. 3. Said Resolution of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled "Notice of Proposed Street Vacation of Portion of San Bruno Road", were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from the affidavits of publication and posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 4. Monday, the 5th day of June, 1961, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of South San Francisco, were fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation might appear before said Council and be heard. 5. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were made, or filed, against said proposed vacation. 6. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San Fran- cisco that said portion of San Bruno Road be and the same is hereby vacated. 7. Said portion of San Bruno Road to be vacated is more particularly described as follows: Portions of a 60 foot right of way easement granted by City and County of San Francisco to the City of South San Francisco, re- corded February 15, 1954 in Book 2538 of Official Records of San Mateo County at Page 75, to-wit: PARCEL A (36678-L-Parcel "A", Part II): BEGINNING at a point in the southwesterly line of Parcel 3 described in Deed recorded April 8, 1927 in Book 307 of Official Records of San Mateo County at Page 1, said point being North 54° 31' 15" West 306.10 feet from the intersection of said southwesterly line and the easterly line of Parcel 26 as described in Deed recorded November 24, 24 1948 in Book 1596 of Official Records at Page 544 (63545-H); THENCE FROM SAID POINT OF BEGINNING South 11° 39' West 63.00 feet along the westerly line of said 60 foot right of way easement; thence northerly on the arc of a 330 foot radius curve to the right through a central angle of 10° 34' 09" for an arc distance of 60.87 feet to a point on the aforementioned southwesterly line of Parcel 3; (a radial line at the beginning of said curve bears South 78° 21' East); thence North 54° 31' 15" West along said southwesterly line 8.94 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL B (36628-L-Parcel "A" Part I): All that certain piece or parcel of land lying easterly of the east- erly line of the above described 60 foot easement and westerly of the easterly line of Parcel 26 as described in Deed recorded November 24, 1948 in Book 1596 of Official Records at Page 544 (63545-H). 8. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this reso- lution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorded of the County of S~n Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting thereof held this 19th day of June, 1961, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen: Noes, " Absent , " G.
