HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3281-1961.a86 RESOLUTION NO. 3281 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF LAWRENCE AVENUE -- INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-C, ZONE ~ RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Cali- fornia, and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that of 19hl. Sec. 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act Sec. 2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the in- tention of this Council to vacate a portion of Lawrence Avenue lying adjacent to the Southerly.line of East Harris Avenue, as said streets are shown on that certain map~ entitled 'South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C", which map was recorded iu the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo on Feb- ruary 25, 1959 iu Book 50 of Maps at pages 31, 32 and 33, and as more particularly shown ou a map of said proposed vacation ou file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. Sec. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 16th day of October, 196i, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. iu the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Fran- cisco, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of said portion of Lawrence Avenue, may appear before said Council and be heard. Sec. h. The City Clerk of said City shall publish this Resolution once iua newspaper of general circulation published within said City, in the manner prescribed by law for publishiu~ resolutions for said City. Sec. 5. Notices of the vacation of each street, or portion thereof, shall be posted conspicuously alou~ the. line of said street, or portion thereof, proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three shall be posted. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 18th day of September, 1961, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, " Absent, " Patrick E.
