A RESOLUTION 0F AWARD OF CONTRACT
PUBLIC WAY NO. 1, PARKING DISTRICT 1955-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Cali-
fornia, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 23rd day of Octo-
ber, 1961 for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as described and
specified in Resolution No. 3287 entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AUTHORIZING T~IE WORK
AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC WAY #1, PARKING DISTRICT 1955-1".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doin~ the
work and improvements and furnishin~ the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: A & J SHOOTER, INC. at the
unit prices named in their bid.

2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter
into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and
approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is here-
by directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said
City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held on the
23rd day of October, 1961, by the following vote:

G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahern, Emilio Cortesi
and Andrew Rocca.
