RESOLUTION COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 4, SECTION 5780,
ET SEQ. OF DIVISION 5, OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE
REGARDING PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, South San Francisco Park Recreation and Parkway District was duly
or~anized, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Public Resources Code
of the State of California, and,
WHEREAS, the governing body of the South San Francisco Park Recreation and
Parkway District to wit, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, desires
that said District shall come under and conform to the provisions of Chapter 4 (com-
mencing with Section 5780)-of Division 5 of the Public Resources Code of the State of
California,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the ~overning body of the South San Fran-
cisco Park Recreation and Parkway District, to wit, the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, that pursuant to the authority of Section 1 of Chapter 2165,
Statutes of 1957, Regular Session, the South San Francisco Park Recreation and Park-
I ai District does hereby elect to come under and conform to the provisions of Chapter
commencin~ with Section 5780) of Division 5 of the Public Resources Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the name of this district followin~ this reor-
ganization shall be "South San Francisco Recreation and Park District", and that the
Board of Directors shall be composed of the Supervisin~ Authority, to wit, the elected
City Councilmen of the City of South San Francisco, the same being as provided for in
Section 5781.4 of the Public Resources Code of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the fore~oin~ resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the ~overnin~ body of the
South San Francisco Park Recreation and Parkway District, to
wit, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, at
a regular meetin~ held the 6th day of November, 1961, by the
following vote:
