A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE
CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION TO MAKE
ALLOCATION FROM CROSSING PROTECTION FUND FOR PRO-
TECTION OF SAN MATE0 AVENUE CROSSING OF THE SOU-
THERN PACIFIC COMPANY TRACKS
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, does hereby
resolve, declare and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor of the City of South San Francisco is hereby authorized
to request the California Public Utilities Corm~ission to make an allocation to said city from
the Crossing Protection Fund in the maximum amount of Four Thousand and Fifty-Seven Dollars
($4,057.00); which said amount will not exceed one-half of the total cost of said city's share
of constructing protection and installing two Standard No. 8 flashing light signals at San
Mateo Avenue Crossing No. E-9.73-C of the East San Bruno Drill Track of the Southern Pacific
Company as specified in Decision No. 62756 of the Public Utilities Commission, and the Mayor
and City Clerk of said city are hereby authorized to sign and execute the same for and on
behalf of the said city.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption thereof
in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city in the minutes of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
