A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ATTORNEYS
SPRUCE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJ~CT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Callfor-
nia, that
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceedings pursuant to
appropriate assessment and assessment bond acts for the acquisition and construction
of public improvements in said City;
WHEREAS~ the public interest and general welfare will be served by appoint-
in~ and employing attorneys for the preparation and conduct of said proceedings and
work in connection with said improvements;
NOW, T~EREFORE~ IT IS ORDERED, that the law firm of Wilson, Harzfeld~ Jones
& Morton, San Marco, California, be~ and they are hereby, appointed and employed to
do and perform all ~e~al services required in the conduct of said proceedings, includ-
ing the preparation of all papers not required to be prepared by the Engineer, examin-
ing and approving the engineerin~ documents and advising the En~ineer in the prepara-
tion of his work, advising all City officials on all matters relating thereto when
called upon, and furnishln~ their legal opinion on the validity of said proceedings
and bonds, and that their compensation be, and it is hereby, fixed at 2~ of the acqui-
sition construction cost, exclusive of incidentals, or $500, whichever is ~reater,
together with reasonable fees for services in acquiring easements or in eminent domain
or other suits, to be assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedin~s.
I hereby certify that the foregoin~ resolution was regu-
larly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held this 2nd day of Jan-
uary, 1962, by the following vote:
