ASSESSMENT BECAUSE 0F P^Y ENT T mEOF
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 6th day of April, 1959, pass and adopt
its Resolution of Intention No. 2771 relating to the acquisition and construction
of public improvements in said City under and pursuant to the provisions of the
Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and amendments thereto, and.did therein provide
that serial bonds would be issued thereunder pursuant to the provisions of the
Improvement Bond Act of 1915, reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby be-
ing expressly made for further particulars;
WHEREAS, assessments under said Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and
amendments thereto, were levied;
WHEREAS, on November 7, 1960, said Council adopted Resolution No. 3100,
being a Resolution Determining Unpaid Assessments and Providing for Issuance of
Bonds;
WHEREAS, one certified copy of said resolution was transmitted to the
City Treasurer of the City of South San Francisco, and one certified copy thereof
was transmitted to the County Auditor of the County of San Mateo;
WHEREAS, the said unpaid assessments were entered on the tax roll of .the
County of San Marco for the tax year 1961-1962;
WT~REAS, Assessment No. 1 in the amount of $13,837.94 was entered on said
roll and assessed to Stewart-Warner Corporation;
WHEREAS, said assessment carries the desiEnation "Code Area 13-001",
"Parcel No. 812-505-01"; and
WHEREAS, said amount was erroneously entered on said tax roll, and said
assessment has been paid in full and should be cancelled.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. Said Council does hereby request that the full amount of said assessr
ment be canceled on said tax roll;
2. The City Clerk of this City transmit one certified copy of this reso-
lution to the City Treasurer of the City of South San Francisco, one certified copy
thereof to the County Auditor of the County of San Mateo, and one copy thereof to
the County Tax Collector of the County of San Mateo.
