A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH]E CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT TO FRED P.
RAPP JR. AND GERALD R. RAPP -- HOLIDAY INN
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Director of Pub!±c Works, ha¥in~ filed a report of his recommendations on the
application of Fred P. Rapp Jr. and Gerald R. Rapp, Holiday Znn, for a Gradin~ Per-
mit, the City Council hereby authorized the City Clerk to issue to Fred P. Rapp Jr.
and Gerald R. Rapp a Gradln~ Permit to ~rade the property described as Parcel 1
Block 124 Assessors Map 15 South San Francisco, 6.0! acre parcel South San Fran-
cisco Map Lands Hart & Hyndin~. Said ~radin~ permit shall provide that the ~rading
be done in accordance with the application and plans submitted with minimum ~rades
to conform to the recommendations of Woodward-Clyde-Sherard and Associates for 10½-
foot elevations after construction and with the proviso that final finish ~radin~
plans be submitted to City showin~ construction finish ~rades and details of storm
drainage installation, which are to be approved by the Director of Public Works
prior to issuance of a Buildin~ Permit. Said permit shall contain provisions
demnifying and holding the C~ty, its elective officials, officers and employees
harmless from claims and further requirir~ conduction of the ~radin~ work in a man-
ner that will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land to be ~raded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that th~ City Clerk shall collect the cost of de-
frayin~ the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works
in the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), prior to issuin~ the permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain
by inspection that said ~radin~ is performed in accordance with the permit and upon its
completion shall file with the City Clerk a report statin~ the results of said inspec-
tion and certifyin~ that the ~radin~ has been performed in accordance with the permit.

ularl~ introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the !5th day of
January, 1962, by the followin~ vote:
