A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO RELATING TO THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
MARINA ACCOUNT AND IN PARTICULAR DESIGNATING THOSE
AUTHORIZED TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR WITHDRAWAL
OF FUNDS
RESOLVED, that Crocker-Anglo National Bank, a national banking associa-
tion, is hereby selected and designated as a depositary of funds of the City of
South San Francisco for the "City of South San Francisco Marina Construction
Fund" and that a checkin~ account be established and maintained by and in the
name of the City of South San Francisco entitled "City of South San Francisco
Marina Construction Fund" at the South San Francisco Branch No. 53 office of
said bank, upon and subject to the followin~ terms and conditions:
(1) That withdrawals shall be made by the City from said fund for the
construction of South San Francisco Marina or with approval of the Division of
Small Craft Harbors, Department of Parks and Recreation of the State of Califor-
nia, said approval to be evidenced by endorsement made on the claim or payment
submitted to City by contractors, suppliers, professional advisors and others.
A certified copy of the approved claim shall be forwarded to the depositary, said
certified copy constitutin~ authorization for withdrawal of funds in payment of
the warrant, check or draft presented therefor. The certified copy of the claim
shall identify the warrant of check issued in payment thereof; and,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all checks, drafts and other instruments for the
payment of money drawn or accepted by this corporation for payment from said
account or at said office be si~ned on behalf of the City by the followin~ offi-
cers of the City, viz.: Guido J. Rozzi, the Mayor, or Patrick E. Ahem, the
Vice-Mayor, and Arthur A. Rodondi, City Clerk, or Louise Elliott, Deputy City
Clerk, the requirements bein~ that two signatures be made on the check, draft or
other instrument, one of which shall be either the Mayor or the Vice-Mayor as
above designated, and one of which shall be the City Clerk or Deputy Clerk as
above designated.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of South San Francis-
co be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to certify to said bank that these
resolutions have been duly adopted, and to further certify to said bank the names
and specimen signatures of the present officers of the City authorized to si~n as
aforesaid, and, if and when any chan~e be made in the personnel of said officers,
the fact of such change and the name and specimen signature of each new officer,
and,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said bank be, and hereby is, requested and auth-
orized to honor, receive, certify or pay any such instrument signed or endorsed
in accordance with the fore~oing resolutions; and,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that these resolutions and each such certification
shall remain in full force and effect, and said bank is authorized and requested
to rely and act thereon, until it shall receive at its office to which the certi-
fied copy of these resolutions is delivered, either a certified copy of a further
resolution of the City Council amendin~ or rescindin~ these resolutions, for fur-
ther certification as above provided for, as the case may be.
I hereby certify that the foregoin~ resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the
5th day of February, 1962, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahem, Emilio Cortesi,
Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan
Noes, " None
Absent, " None
