A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING TH~ FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWAGE
TREATMENT WORKS UNDER 33 U.S.C. 466 ET. SEQ., DESIGNATING THE AUTHOR-
IZED REPRESENTATIVE AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Mayor of said City, now Mayor Guido J. Rozzi, is hereby authorized by the City
Council to file on behalf of the City Council an application for federal ~rant for
sewage treatment works pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (Public
Law 560, 84th Congress) as amended under 33 U.S.C. 466 et. seq.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council a~rees that if a federal
~rant for the project is made pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act,
as amended (33 U.S.C. 466 et. seq.), the applicant (City) will pay the remainin~
cost of the approved project and the applicant will provide proper and efficient
operation and maintenance of the approved project after completion of construction
thereof.
I hereby certify that the fore~oin~ resolution was re~-
uIarly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the 19th day of
February, 1962, by the followin~ vote:
Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahem, Emilio Cortesi,
Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan
