A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING
THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 353 AS AMENDED AND IN
PARTICULAR SECTION 2.2 THEREOF, SAME BEING A PROPOSED PLAN
AND REGULATION OF SAID ORDINANCE AND ADOPTING ZONING MAP
ENTITLED "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
CALIFORNIA, DATED MARCH 1, 1961"
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco, after
hearing duly noticed in accordance with the Government Code of the State of Califor-
nia, and Ordinance No. 353 as amended, has recommended by resolution of said Commis-
sion carried by more than two-thirds of the total votin~ members that Section 2.2
of said Ordinance be amended as set forth in the Planning Commission resolution No.
1459, and,

WHEREAS, a copy of the precise plan regulation and amendment, to wit:
PROPOSED amended Section 2.2 of Zoning Ordinance No. 353 as amended and map
entitled "Zoning Map of the City of South San Francisco, California, dated March 1,
1961", accompanied by a report of findings, summary of hearings and recommendations
of the Commission, has been submitted to the City Council, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council in accordance with the Government Code, upon re-
ceipt of same, set a public hearing for the 19th day of February, 1962, and on said
date did conduct said hearing and duly considered the report and recommendations of
the Planning Commission, the resolution, report of findings, summary of hearings and
other matters that came before said hearing, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to adopt the report of findings and
recommendations of the Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does hereby approve the report and recommendations of the Planning Commission
of said City to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 353 amended and in particular Section 2.2
thereof, so that said Section shall read as follows:
(1) Section 2.2: The designations, locations, and boundaries of the dis-
trict established are deliniated upon the map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of
South San Francisco, California, dated March 1, 1961", which map and all notations and
information thereon are hereby made a part of this Ordinance by this reference, a copy
of said map being attached hereto. Any land within the incorporated limits of the City
of South San Francisco, now or in the future, and not designated, or indicated on the
Zoning Map, shall be in the unclassified, or U, district; also, any land hereafter
annexed to the City of South San Francisco shall, upon annexation, be in the unclassi-
fied, or U, district until given a definite classification.
(2) that map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of South San Francisco, Cali-
fornia, dated March 1, 1961" is hereby approved and adopted,
(3) that said report and recommendations be endorsed by the signature of
the Mayor of the City of South San Francisco, attested by the City Clerk, to evidence
that said report and recommendations have been approved and adopted by the City Council.
(4) that an Ordinance be drafted amending Ordinance No. 353 as amended and
in particular Section 2.2 thereof to effect the changes set forth in said report and
recommendations.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regu-
larly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a reguIar meeting held on the I9th day of
February, 1962, by the following vote:
