HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3412-1962RESOLUTION NO. 3412 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO COMMENDING THOMAS TESHARA WHEREAS, the Pee Wee Baseball League of the Greater San Francisco Area, which had its be~innin~ in South San Francisco two years a~o, has been officially sanctioned by the National Baseball Congress, and, WHEREAS, Thomas Teshara, a resident of the City of South San Francisco, has made this accomplishment a source of pride for the City, and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to com- mend him for this activity that serves the youth of this community and in so doin~ the welfare of the City, State and Nation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that we do hereby commend Thomas Teshara for his efforts on behalf of the youth of South San Francisco, the State and the Nation, and we do further express our appreciation to him for makiny South San Francisco part of this achievement. I hereby certify that the fore~oin~ resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the 2nd day of April, 1962, by the fo~lowin~ vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noe s, ,, Absent, G.
