RESOLUTION NO. 3423
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE ALLOCATION FOR AND DESIGNA-
TION OF THE CLASSIFICATION MAINTENANCE MAN II
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
I The budget for 1~61-62 is hereby amended to include three (3) positions
entitled ~Maiuteuauce Man II , which positions shall be non-classified and for de-
partmental assignments, to be filled on the basis of performance and ability.
2. Au employee holdiu~ the classified position entitled "Maintenance Man I"
may be assigned to the non-claSsified position entitled "Maintenance Man II" herein
authorized.
3. The authorization for the three (3) non-classified positions shall not
increase the number of employees in the departments.
4. The departmental assignment to Maintenance Man II, non-classified posi-
tion, of an employee holdiu~ the classified position of Maintenance Man I shall not
affect vacancies to be filled in the classified position.
I hereby certify that the foregoin~ resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of April, 1962,
by the following vote:
