A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CANVASSING RETURNS AND
DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 10, 1962
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in and throughout the City of
South San Francisco on the 10th day of April, 1962, for the election of two (2) mem-
bers of the City Council of said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City has'duly presented to the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco all the returns of the votes cast at said municipal
election, and
WHEREAS, said City Council has inspected and examined all said returns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City that said City
Council finds as follows:
That the whole number of votes cast in said City of South San Francisco is
Five Thousand, Five Hundred and Eighty-three (5,583).
That the names of the persons votes for at said general municipal election
for the office of City Councilman are as follows:
(a) As regularly nominated candidates:

ANDREW ROCCA
JAMES S. CLAAR
PETER A. MARTINEZ
ANDY KARABATSOS
JOSEPH A. POWERS
(b) As write-in candidates:

RESULTS OF SAID MUNICIPAL ELECTION
That the record of the votes cast at said municipal election in favor of
said candidates, as shown by the official count at each of the several precincts
established throughout said City by said City Council for the purpose of conductiu~
said election, is as shown ou Exhibit A attached hereto, the same bein~ a tabulation
of the votes by precincts.
That the votes cast at said ~eneral municipal election in favor of said
candidates by absentee ballot as shown at the official count are as follows:

That PATRICK E. AHERN and ANDREW ROCCA were duly elected at said municipal
election as members of the City Council of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City shall, and he is
hereby ordered to, issue certificates of election as follows:
To said PATRICK E. AHERN and ANDREW ROCCA as members of the City Council
of said City.
