RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 1641, STATUTES OF 1959
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has previously requested the State
Department of Finance to provide plannin~ assistance to it under authority of Chapter
1641, Statutes of 1959 in conjunction with Section 701 of the Housin~ Act of 1954 as
amended; and
WHEREAS, the State has accordin_~ly prepared a proposed a~reement between the
City and State entitled "A~reement Between the State of California and the City of
South San Francisco ralatin~ to Urban Plannin_~ Assistance",. further identified as
LP0-P/2 S-CS-5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid
a~reement with the State on behalf of the City, and the City a~rees to be bound by the
terms thereof.
2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to issue a
check in the amount of $4,000.00 and to deposit said sum of money with the State of
California to be administered in accordance with the terms of such a~reement.
3. Passed by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 7th
day of May, 1962.
