A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
PERSON AND SWANSON INDUSTRIAL TRACT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Califor-
nia, that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 2nd day of April, 1962, adopt its Resolu-
tion orderin~ the City Engineer to make and file with the City Clerk an amended as-
sessment of the parcel of property the former assessment which, under Resolution of
Intention No. 2771 adopted by this Council on April 6, 1959, as amended, is designa-
ted upon the original assessment and diagram and confirmed by said CounciI on June
20, 1960, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets as diagram and
assessment Number 59;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 2nd day of April, 1962 pursuant to
resolution orderiu~ same, file with the City Clerk an amended assessment and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 7th day of May, 1962, as the time
for hearin~ said amended assessment and caused notice of said hearin~ to be published
twice in the Enterprise-Journal, the first publication beiu~ fifteen days before said
hearing, as appears from the affidavit on file iu the office of the City Clerk of
said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no protests or objec-
tions were made or presented to the proposed amended assessment, and all matters and
thiu~s pertainin~ to said amended assessment were duly heard and considered by this
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment and diagram filed
with the City Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering sa~e, be, and the
same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Clerk of said City shall deliver said
amended assessment to the Superintendent of Streets, to~ether with a certified copy
of this resolution thereto attached, and said Superintendent of Streets shall there-
upon record such amended assessment with a certificate at the end thereof by the City
Clerk of said City that it is the amended assessment approved by the said Council on
May 7, 1962.
The Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite the assessment iu said
original diagram and assessment that it has been displaced by said amended assessment,
~ivin~ its date, and shall credit upon such amended assessments all payments thereto-
fore made upon such original assessment. When said amended assessment has been re-
corded the Superintendent of Streets shall cause the original assessment involved to
be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the fore~oin~ resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held this 7th
day of May, 1962, by the followin~ vote:
