A RESOLUTION OF TKE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION TO MAKE ALLOCATION FROM
CROSSING PROTECTION FUND FOR PROTECTION OF SPRUCE AVE-
NUE RAILROAD CROSSING NO. #M-12.5
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, does hereby
resolve, declare and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor of the City of South San Francisco is hereby auth-
orized to request the California Public Utilities Commission to make an allocation to
said city from the Crossin~ Protection Fund in the maximum amount of Three Thousand,
Two Hundred and Seventeen Dollars ($3,217.00); which said amount will not exceed one-
half of the total cost of said city's share of constructin~ protection and installing
two Standard No. 8 flashin~ li~ht signals at Spruce Avenue Railroad Crossin~ No. EM-12.5
of the Southern Pacific Company as specified in the a~reement between City and Southern
Pacific Company dated the 7th day of May, 1962, The Mayor and City Clerk of said city
are hereby authorized to st~n and execute said application for and on behalf of the
said city.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedin~s of the City Council of said city in the min-
utes of the meetln~ at which the same ~ passed and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 21st day of May, 1962.
