RESOLUTION NO. 3529
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT
TO LAWRENCE BARRETT, TRUSTEE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the
Director of Public Works, havin~ filed a report of his recommendations on the application
of Lawrence Barrett, trustee, for a Gradln~ Permit, the City Council hereby authorizes
the City Clerk to issue to Lawrence Barrett, trustee, a Gradin~ Permit to ~rade the
property described as that property shown on the plan entitled-"Pavin~, Draina~e, etc. -
Freeway Drive, South San Francisco, California, for Jack Barrett" dated July 25, 1962,
accompanyin~ the application. Said Qradin~ Permit shall provide that 'the ~radin~ be
done in accordance with the report and recommendations of the Director of Public Works,
which is hereby referred to and by reference made a part hereof, entitled "Inter-Office
Memorandum to the City Council, dated July 30, 1962, subject Gradin~ Plan-Barrett
Property". Said Permit shall contain provisions indemnifyin~ and holdin~ the City,
its elective officials, officers, and employees harmless from claims and further re-
quirin~ conduction of the ~radin~ work in a manner that will not injure the property
in the vicinity of the land to be ~raded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of defray-
in~ the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works in
the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), prior to issuin~ the Permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain by
inspection that said ~radin~ is performed in accordance with the Permit and upon its
completion, shall file with the City Clerk a report statin~ the results of said in-
spection and certifyin~ that the ~radin~ has been performed in accordance with the
Permit.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the
6th day of August, 1962, by the followin~ vote:
