A RESOLUTION OF T~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT
TO WM. P. RUS (BETHLEHEM STEEL PROPERTY)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Director of Public Works, havin~ filed a report of his recommendations on the
application of Wm. P. Rus for a Gradin~ Permit, the City Council hereby authorizes
the City Clerk to issue to Wm. P. Rus a Gradin~ Permit to Trade the property des-
cribed as that property shown on the map in red entitled "~ands of Bethlehem Steel
Co. - Borrow Pit Gradin~ Plan" dated July 24, 1961. Said Gradin~ Permit shall pro-
vide that the ~radin~ be done in accordance with said plan, application, report and
recommendation of the Director of Public Works. Said Permit shall contain provisions
indemnifyin~ and holdin~ the City, its elective officials, officers and employees
harmless from claims and further requirin~ conduction of the ~radin~ work in a manner
that will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land to be ~raded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of defray-
in~ the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works in
the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), prior to issuin~ the Permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain
by inspection that said ~radin~ is performed in accordance with the Permit and upon
its completion, shall file with the City Clerk a report statin~ the results of said
inspection and certifyin~ that the ~radin~ has been performed in accordance with the
Permit.

City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the
6th day of August, 1962, by the followin~ vote:
