A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST A~D NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUI-
SITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF
CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
SEW~IAGE TREATmeNT AND DISPOSAL WORKS AND SYSTEM
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,California,
that it be, and it is hereby, ordered and determined as follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity demand the followin~ municipal
improvements, to wit:
The acquisition, construction and completion of municipal improvements
including additions, enlargements and modifications of facilities for sewage treatment
and disposal, outfall structures, sewage pumping works, force mains and interceptor
and trunk sewer mains and all lands, easements, work and improvements auxiliary thereto.
2. That the acquisitions and improvements mentioned in the foregoing section
of this resolution, and each of them, are necessary and convenient to carry out the
objects, purposes and powers of the City.
3- That the cost of said acquisitions and 'improvements mentioned herein and
each of them, severally and respectively, will be too great to be paid out of the
ordinary accumulation of income and revenue of the City.
4. The indebtedness for the said acquisitions and improvements will reGuire
expenditures greater than the amounts allowed for them by the annual tax levy of said
City and will necessitate incurring a bonded indebtedness.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held this 4th day of September, 1962, by the following vote:
