A RESOLUTION REQUESTi~G CONSOLIDATION OF ELECTION
SERffAGE TREATMEI~T AI~fD DISPOSAL ~.,'IORKS AND SYST~
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California,
as follows:
WI[EREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco proposes to c_~ll and
order a special bond election in said City to be held Novemb'er 6, 1962; and
W~REAS, the public interest will be benefited, a larger, more representative vote
will result, and the interest and convenience of the voters will be respected if said bond
election is held on the same date and voting thereon is at the same precincts; with the same
precinct officials as are established for the general statewide election to be held on the
same date;
NOW, T~KEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California,
is hereby requested pursuant to Chapter 4, Part 2 of Division 12 (comprising Sections 23300
to 23312 inclusive) of the Elections Code of the State of California, to order the consoli-
dation of the special City bond ~ection to be held November 6, 1962, with said general
statewide election to be held on the same date.
2. That th~ proposition to be voted on at said City election is as follows:
PROPOSITION: "Shall the City of South San Fran-
(Sewage Treatment cisco incur a bonded indebtedness
and Disposal Works in the principal amount of One
and System) Million Eight Hundred Ninety-Three
Thousand Dollars (~'~1,893,000.00), for the acquisition,
construction and completion of municipal improvements in-
cluding additions, enlargements and modifications of facili-
ties for sewage treatment and disposal, outfall structures,
sewage puraping works, force mains and interceptor and
trunk sewer mains and all lands, easements, work and
improvements auxiliary thereto?"
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the Board of Supervisors
and tho County Clerk of the County of San Mateo certified copies of this Resolution at ]_east
sixty (60) days prior to the general statewide election.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held
this 4th day of September, 1962, by the follo~.~ing vote:
