A HESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL i OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE REPORT
TO THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the report entitled "A Report to Regional Water Pollution Control Board South San
Francisco-San Bruno Sewage Treatment Plant" attached hereto as Exhibit "A", filed in
compliance with the Board's Resolution No. 382, is hereby approved and ordered for-
warded to said Regional Water Pollution Control Board.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the
15th day of October, 1962, by the followin~ vote:

EXHIBIT "A"
REPORT TO REGIONAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO-SAN BRUNO SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
The City of South San Francisco, in compliance with Resolution No. 382 of the Regional
Water Pollution Control Board, San Francisco Bay Re~ion, has undertaken the follOwin~
actions:
(1)
Accepted en~ineerin~ report of Harry Jenks-John Jenks and Paul L. Adamson, on
needed wastes pumpin~ and treatment plant enlargements. Pursuant to this report
engineers have been authorized to proceed with preparation of workiu~ plans and
specifications for the recommended enlargements.
(2) Cities have made application for federal funds ~ranted under Public Law 660.
State Regional Water Pollution Control Board has assigned priority ratiu~.

City Council has caused to be placed upon the ~eueral election ballot of November
6, question as to whether City of South San Francisco will be authorized to expend
$1,893,000 for the acquisition, construction and completion of municipal improve-
ments includin~ additions, enlargements and modification of facilities for sewage
treatment and disposal and work auxiliary thereto.
(4) The City has prepared and submitted to every registered voter an argument in favor
of the proposition.
(5) The Cities are carryin~ on a receivin~ waters monitorin~ pro,ram as required and
submittin~ findings regularly to the Water Pollution Control Board.

City Council has passed upon first readin~ ordinances amendin~ requirements of
discharge of water and wastes into public sewer system, lowerin~ quantities of
~rease, suspended solids and BOD which may be discharged.
