A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ABANDONING A PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT - STARLITE INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, a public utility easement was dedicated to the City of South San
Francisco on the 3rd day of July, 1959, by the recordin~ of that certain subdivision
map entitled "Starlite Industrial Subdivision, City of South San Francisco, County
of San Mateo, California", recorded in Volume 51 of Maps, Official Records of San
Mateo County, pa~es 41 and 42, and
WHEREAS, said public utility easement 10-foot wide situated at the Easterly
side of Lots 9, 10, ll, 12 and 13 of Block l, Starlite Industrial Subdivision, was
dedicated and/or acquired less than five years prior and more than one year prior to
this date, and said easement has not been used continuously since the day of dedica-
tion and/or acquisition and is not necessary for present and prospective public use
by said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco havin~
not used continuously the easement hereinafter described and not ueedin~ said ease-
ment for present or prospective City use, does hereby abandon and vacate the easement
described as follows:
"That 10-foot wide public utility easement situated at the Easterly
side of Lots 9, 10, ll, 12 and 13 of Block l, Starlite Industrial
Subdivision, City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
California, and described by the followin~ line --

BEGINNING at a point at the most southeasterly corner of
said Lot 9, Block l, as that lot and block is indicated on that map
entitled"Starlite Industrial Subdivision, City of South San Fran-
cisco, County of San Mateo, California", and recorded in the office
of the Count~ Recorder in Volume 51, pa~es 41 and 42 on July 3, 1959
(File 64750R), thence from said point of be~innin~ ou and alon~ the
the Easterly line of said Lots 9, 10, ll, 12 and 13 in a Northerly
direction North 15° 34' 40" East 260.00 feet to the most Northeast-
erly corner of Lot 13; thence North 74° 27' West lO.00 feet alou~ the
Northerly line of Lot 13, Block l; thence leavin~ said lot line in a
Southerly direction South 15° 34' 40" West 260.0~ feet to the South-
erly line of Lot 9; thence Easterly alone said lot line South 74° 27'
East 10.00 feet to the point of beginning."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required dOcuments be recorded by the City
Clerk to clear the Grantor's property of the easement.
