CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIOUS BUDGET ACTIONS
THAT ALLOW STAFF TO CLOSE THE BOOKS FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2012 -13
WHEREAS, staff recommends approving various budget actions as described in the
accompanying Staff Report and fund summary attachments to this Resolution, with all actions
summarized on Exhibit A to this Resolution, which is incorporated into this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, such approval will result in a General Fund Undesignated Reserve of
approximately $13.3 million as of June 30, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco hereby authorizes that the City's books be closed for Fiscal Year 2012 -13.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make any
budget changes consistent with what is presented herein as recommended by the City of South San
Francisco's external auditors for Fiscal Year 2012 -13 in order to close the books for Fiscal Year 2012 -13.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 120, day of
February, 2014 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mavor Richard A. Garbarino and Mavor Karel Matsumoto
