CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTANT SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH WILLIAM AVERY AND ASSOCIATES
FOR EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT SERVICES FOR UP TO
FOUR POSITIONS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$85,900 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, staff recommends awarding the Consultant Services Agreement
( "Agreement ") to William Avery and Associates ( "Consultant "), for provision of executive
recruitment services effective May 28, 2014; and
WHEREAS, staff will use Consultant's executive recruitment services, as needed, to
supplement the efforts of the Human Resources Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby awards the Consultant Services Agreement to William
Avery and Associates; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the documents necessary to effectuate the Agreement on behalf of the City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of
May, 2014 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N Addiegg Pradeep Gupta and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Richard A Garbarino and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto
