Holston, J.H.Ke'lley, J.C.I¥Ic Gove e rn and M · A · Cunningham. Absent, Trustee, T.T~.Hickey. Minutes of the previou~ meeting were reLa~d and approved. The following applicatioSs f:-~ ~e~m.tts:~fo~Lquor licenses were received at this meeting G. Carroll, Jos. Pachecco, Hawes& Tibb~ts, R.Setter~,H. Ghilardi,J.Curti and ~. Giffra. And accom~ng~-~ch of the above applications was a bond in the sum of One Thousand (I000) dollars in favor of the City of South San Francisco,for the faithful compliance with ordin- ance #4 of the City of South SanFrancisco,and each of the above applicants h~ ring co:n ,lied in a~l respects with ordinance ~4 t~l~ey were granted permits for liquor licenses until Dec. SIst. I912, by the unanimous vote of all Trustees present,to wit; G.W.Holston,J.H.Ke~ley, J.C. Mc Govern and F.A.Cunningham. Absent, Trustee, T.T,.Hickey. A Report for the month of June was received from City Reco:, der Wm. Rehberg enclo~eing ~heck for ~orty--five dollars as fines collected for monSh June. ~ The report was accepted. The Board of Trustees ,under the authority conferred upon it by that certain Act of the Legislature of the State of California, approved Apri~,Tth. IgII, and known as the "Improvment act of !9II&'~ determines and declares that serial bo~s shall be issued to rep- resent the cost of said proposed improvments;said bonds shall be serial extending over a period of nine (9) years from the second day of Januarynext succeeding their dat~and shall be issued to represent assessments of twenty-five2~ dollars or more remaining unpaid thirty days after the date of the warrant issued to the contractor or, five(§ldays after the decision of said Board of Trustees on an appeal; an e~ annual proportion of the principal sum of each bon~ shall be payable by coupon on the second January of each year after its date and until the whole i~ paid, and intrest shall be payable semi-annually ,by coupon, on the second days of January and July, respectively, of ea ~h year at the rate of seven (?i per cent per annum on. all suns ~u~paid until the whole Of said principal and intrest is paid ; and said bonds ~hall be issued in accordance w~th the provisio~s of said"Improvement Act of IgII." The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of' said work, together with plans and specifications.therefor, conspicuously for five(6)days on or near the council chamber door inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered. He is :lso directed to pub- l~lch lish a notice inviting s~ed proposals ~*~ and referring to the specifications poste~ or on file by two (2)insertions in"The Enterprise",aweekly newspaperprinte¢~, published, d and circulated in said City and hereby designated for that purpose.
