South San Francisco, held Monday October ?th. IgIE.
This meeting was called to order at 8~I0 Clock P.M.~ by Trustee F.A. Cunningham "President
of the Board of Trustees". Roll-call found the following /Trustees present, to wit;
~~$~# T.Z.Hickey, J.H. Kelley, J.C. Mc Govern, and F.A. Cunningham.
Minutes of the two previous meetings were read and approved.
A Petition was received from A Cesta, asking that he be allowed to transfer his Class B
Lielm~e License from his place of business on Aspen Avenue to Grand Avenue.
Noved by Trustee Mc Govern seconded by Trustee Kelley that the request be granted.

Aco~munication was received from the V~ce President of the South San Francisco Railway
? Power Company, saying that their company had arranged to install Arc headlights on the
cars running through Souh San Francisco.
Communication ordered placed on file.
A communication was received from the California State Automobil~e Association, asking that
the Boardb of Trustees improve Nission Road near twelve mile house.
Communication ordered placed on file.
A communication was received from Ambrose ~c ~weeney County Tax-collector, asking that he
be granted the use of the City Hall on October Z0th .IgIE, for the collection of County
Taxes on that day.

The reports of City officers ~er$ the month of September,were then read, the report of
City Clerk and Treasurer showing a cash balance of 9~,6~ on hand Sept.~0, I9I~.
The following demands against the City were presented for payment the same having been a~-
proved by the finance committee,
To D. Palany for labor on sewer foot of ~agnolia Ave.
" Patrick Hughes labor on street
" S.~. Gordier % claim of Thbmas Donahue labor for Board of Health
" So, San Francisco Water Co. Water used by City month of Sept. I9IE.
" Geo. Washington repairing tools Etc.
" the Cutter Laboratory for one anti rabid treatment % Hawes

Noved by trustee Kelley seconded by Trustee Hickey that the above demands be paid and
warrants drawn for the various amounts.

An Ordinance to repeal Ordinance numberfour of the City of South San Francisco, and all
the amendments thereto was introduced by Trustee Kelley, and laid over until next meeting of t
the Board.
An Ordinance ,entitled, An Ordinance Licenseing ~h~ Regulating the Traffiq ~s~ding, and Dis
posin~ of Spiritous, ~lalt and fermented liquor's and wine~ or any admixture thereof, in the
City of South San Francisco,was formally introduced by Trustee Hickey and laid over until
ne~t meeting of the Board.
