This meeting was called to order at 8'B Clock P.M. by Trustee ~.A. Cu~uingham"President of all of the Board". Roll call found t~~*~ Trustees present to wit; G.W. Holston, T.L. Hickey, J.H.Kelley~ J.C.Mc Govern, and ~'.A.Cunningham. Minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved. A commu~ication fron the North American Press association was ~~ READ offering to ~~~ advertise the City of South San ~rancisco in its Journal for the s'mn of one hundred(I00) Per Page. Moved by Trustee Hickey seconded by Trustee Mc Govern that the matter ~e refered to the Chairman of the Board to obtain further information. Carried A communication was received from I~i.~. Healy concerning his inability to secure rock to start the repairs on Swift and Walker Avenues So. San Francisco on account o~ the Saratoga Rock Co. being unable to obtain cars to ship the rock. Moved by Trustee Htckey seconded by Trustee Kelley that no such excuse be taken by the Board of Trustees , on account of the Sta~l~ Law, which pbliges the Railroad to furnish cars. Carried Moved by Trustee Kelley ~~ seconded by Trustee Holston that the Clerk be authorized and instructed to procure aplications and Bonds for liquor licenses as provided by ordinance number ~9 of the City of South San Francisco. Carried Ordinance number6I? entitled,"An Ordinance DEfining the Boundaries of Division Street and Establishing Elevations on Division Street between the north line of Grand Ave~ue and the South line of Armour Avenue, was read and upon roll-call was adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco, by the following vote; Ayes, and in favor of the pasaage of the said ordinance Trustees G.W.Holston, T.LHickey, J.H.KelleE,~m~. Smith City Clerk The reports of City Officers for month of November were then read, the report of the Clerk showed a cash bala~'~ce of 4,I38.Z? on hand November Z0th. Carried Under heading of street work the following resolution was introduced by Trusttee Kelley Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Fa ancisco that the plan~ and specifications for the comstruction of sidewalks,curbin~g and gutters on the west side of Division street from the North line of Grand Avenue to the South line of Armour Avenue, and on Armour Avenue,o~ both sides thereof ,from the east line of Ban Brtuuo Road to the west line of Division street and for gradeing and macadamizing said streets for the full len Mht as above specified, except where any of such work has already been done, as ~repared by the City Engineer of said City and submitted this End day of December IgI2,be ~nd the same are herebyad~pted as~ and for the plan~ and specificationw ~or~doLng said work. ~ hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of S~uth San ~rancisco this End day of Dece~nbor IgI£,by the ~ollowing vote : matter be refered to the Chairman of the Board-to obtain further information.
