Holston "President of the B0ard.~ Roll call Roll-call found the following Trustees present to wit; Absent, Trustees Whllaoe and ~.tc Govern. The minutes of the previous meeting were :~read amd upon mo~ion of Trustee cunnin~- ham seconded by Trustee Kelley and regularly carried were approved as read. Aeommunication From ~ne League of California Municipalities regarding the annual oonvention was received and filed. ~,.,~oved by Trustee Eelley ~econded by Trustee Cunningham that P.L. Kauffmann be granted permiss~om to move a building located on lo~ 8 Blook 1E4 a distance of fifty feet. The following resolution was t~en introduced by Trustee Kelley. Resolution Ordering The ~ork Resolved,that whereas the Board of Trustees of t~e City of South San Franoiscodid on the l?tn day of June,191~,pass its resolution o~ ~ntention N~.II to order the hereinafter des- cribed work to be done and improvement to be made in said City,which resolution of intention was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the affidavit of E.I.Wood- man now on file in the office of ~ne City Olerk of said 0ity;and whereas notices of ~e passage of said resolu~ ~. i-zte~.~.,.o;....;~.~i headed"NOTICE 0~ I~PROVMENT" were duly and legally posted along the lie of said contemplated work and i~provment and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor,in form and manner as required by law ,as app- ears from the affidavit of George A. Eneese,Euperintendent of Streets of said City,who upon the completion of the posting of said notices,forthwith filed said affidavit in the office of the City Clerk,making oath that he completed the posting of said notices on the EP. nd day of June,191~;and whereas more than fifteen days have expire& since the day of the second publication of said Resolution of Intention No. lland the completion of the posting of the said "Notices of Improvment";therefore be it resolved,that public intrest and convenience the work herein described require ~$~~~$~$~$~~~ AND THE Board of Trustees of the City of S South San ~ranoisco hereby orders the following street work to be done in said City to wit~ That that portion of San Bruno Road between the northerly line of Grand Avenue and the Southerly line of Armour Avemue including all street intersections,be improved by gradeing from the westerly boundary line to a line parallel thereto and at a distance of twenty three easterly feet therefrom ;also be gradeing between the easterly curb line and a line parallel to said easter.ely curb line and at a distance of eleven (11) feet westerly.therefrom;also by ~~g CONSTRUCTING concrete sidewalks and concrete curbs on the westerly sideof said San Bruno Road,except v,.'here~$ such sidewalks and curbs have already been constructed ,and by filling in earth between curb and concrete sidewalk so as to bring that portion of the sidewalk om the westerly side of said road between curb and concrete sidewalk to official grade;also bY constructing an asphaltic concrete pavement consisting of an asphaltic concrete surface ~l-~ ~ inches in thickness laid on a concrete fouhdation five inches in thickness in that portion of San Bruno Road hereinbefore described and included between the westerly curb line and a line parallel thereto and at a distance of eleven feet easterly therefrom;and in tht portion of San Bru~GO Road hereinbefore described and included between the easterly curb ltz_e ham seconded by Trustee Kelley and regularly carried were approved as read. The report of Recorder Rehberg for ~he month of June was read which report showed th that the sum of forty dollars had been collected through his office dur~ing the month of June 1914.
