This meeting was called to order at 8' 0 glock P.~,i. by Trustee ~;.V,'. Holston "President of the Board." ~ Roll-call Roll-c all found the ~ollowin~ Trustees present,to wit; ?.A. C~nnin~ham~ Ceo. Ta!lace an~ ~ .... ~" ~iolston. Trustees Eelley and I~c Govern appeared after roll-call. Absent ?rustee Xone . The reading of the minutes of the previous neetin~ was dispensed with ~ application for~ a permit for the construction cE a one story brick building on the no~th forty feet of lots one and two in block 124 fronting on Linden Avenue S0.S. upon motion of Trustee Cunningham seconded by T::'ustee Wallace and re~larly carried the permit was ~anteS. A conmuhication was received from Carl HIlpisch representing PecksSub. add calling the attentlon of the Board to the fact that the back fill on the sewer system was not being done according to specificationm. The City Clerk was instructed to notify I~r Hilpisch that the matter would be looked after when ~r Lindgren asked for an acceptance of the sewer system. The follov;ing resolution was then introduced by Trustee C~ningh~. Resolved by the -~am~d of Trustees of the City of South S~ ~'ancisco that the plans and specifications for the impro~ent of tliller Avenue betweent the v,est line of spruce Avenue and the east line of ~dagn lia Avenue ,and Baden Avenue betweent the west line of ~aple Avenue and $~ a line Zwo hundred ~200) feet west of the west line of Spruce Avenue and parallel ~hereto,as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of South San ~rancisco and submitted thLs 2nd. day of September,1914,be and the same hereby are adopted as and for the I:lans and specifications for doing said ~rk. All work herein provided for shall be done to official grade and in accordance with the special plans and specifications heretofore adopted by said Board of Trustees for doing said work and now on file in the office of the City Clerk to which reference is hereby made for further des~,ripti~n of sai~ work. The Board of Trustees under the authority conferred upon it by the provisions of that certain act of the Legislature of the State of California,approved April 7th. 191t, and known as "The Im~:rovment Act o'f 1911',determines and declares that serial boads shall be issued to represent the cost of said proposed improvmenJrs;said bonds shall be serrial extending over a period of five (5) yesrs from the second day of January next suceeding their date,and shall be issued to represent assessments of twenty-five (£5) dollars or 'more re..main[n? unpaid for thirty days after the date of the warrant issued to the contract- or or five [5) dsys after the decision of said Board of Trustees on an appeal ;an even annual proportion of the principal sum of each bond Shall be payable,by coupon ,on the second day of Janua~ of each after its date and ~mtil the whole is paid,and intrest shall be payable semi-annually by coupon on the second days of January and July respectively of each ~ear at the rate of seven ( (?) ~er cent per annu~'~n on all sums unpaid until the wh'.le of said principal and intreat is laid and said bonds shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of said ~mprovmez.t "The ?~nterprise", a weekly newspaper printed,published and circulated in the City of South S n Francisco,is hereby design ated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published, hfldtt~he City Cierk is hereby directed to cause this ~esolution Of Intention to be published by two (,2),insertions in the manner and form req~ired by said "Improvment Act of 19ll". ~he Superintendent od streets shall, immediately ,cause to be conspicously posted alon~ he line of said contemplated work and improvment and in fron of all the property liable to beassessed,notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention,in the ,~anner and form required by said "Improvment Act of 19ll".
