Hc Govern"~~~~,,~F~,~.in the absence of Trustee Holston. Roll-call Roll call f0unf~ the following Trustees present,to wit; P.A. C nnin~ham, J.H. Kelley, J.C. Hc Govern and Ceo. Wallace. ~bsent-Trustee C.W. HolstOn. The minutes of the prey'ions meeting were r:'ad and upon motion of Trustee Kelley seconded by Trustee Cunni ~ham and regular carriedv~ere approved as read. A communication -as received from E. Jorgenson conto'actor,asking permission to repair the barn of ?.C, iffra on ~rana Ave hue . Uhe permission was granted Ac communication was received from J.G. Walker com[;laining against a .~uisance said to exist on account of no sewer connection on tho premises of I,[.F. Healy. The Clerk was instructe~ to say that t.~ sewer system was not quit~ ready for acceptance but would be in a very short time a nd the nuisance :~uld '~he~absted h~aa connedtion to the sewer system at that time. !.%' ?Toe repr~,aenting the San [iateo News appeared before tke Board and asked for a donation for the purpose of giving pu'~licity to the City through tke colu,.~ms of SD~f,~~ a promotion edition to be published on Sept. ~7,1914. The matter was taken ~uuder advisment by th~~ ~oard. Ther being some protest among the property owners on Baden and ~,~i!lers Avenues concerni t he amount of tk~r assessments, tk, e City Engineer was empowered to go over the figures of Bates Borland and Ayers contractors, the City to pay one of the expense and the said Contra ctors~tke other half. The report of the C~.ty Jlerk for month of August was then read,and shov,~ed the following balances. General fund 677 ..... Sinking fund 966 9~ Sewer fund ~,i~1~ o,5~.88 move~, ]~,y Trustee ,.a~±ace seco.~ed by Trustee Cunni~ham that the report be ac accepted and filed.
