This men'ting was called to order by Trustee G. W. Holston "President of the Board" at 8 o'clock p.m. Roll-call Roll-call found all the Trustees present, to:wit: F. A. Cunningham, J. H. Kelly, J. C. ~.~cGovern, G. Wallace And G. W. Holston. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion o~ Trustee seconded by Tr~stee Kelly and regularly carried were approved as read. ~ applicstion for a permit to b~ild a corrugated iron shed in the rear of their building was received from Curusis Bros.. !~oved by Trustee Wallace and seconded by Trustee Cunnin~ham that the permit be granted. Carried ~ application for a permit to build a storage shed was received from Georgi and Ra~elli, moved by Trustee I~icCovern seconded by Trustee Cunningham that the pe~it be Franted. ~ arri ed · A communication fas received from H. Turner eonscerning the collection and disposal of the garbage in the City of South S~n Francisco. The communication was ordered filed. The chairman of the ~oa~ , ap¢ointed a committee of two Tr~stees composed of Trustees l~cGovern and E~ningham to interview I.[r. Black 'of tl~e United Railroad to ascertain the o~ership of the Poles on Grand Avenue. All work herein proviSed for shall be done official grade and in a.~cordance with the ~he special plans and specifications heretofore ado~:ted by said Board of Trustees for doing s ~aid work and now on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby nade for further description of said work. The Board of Trustees under the authority conferred upon it by the provisions of that certain act of the IJegislature of the State of California, approved April 7th, 1911 and krown as the "Improvement Act of 1911" determines and declares that serialbonds shall be issued to represent the cost of said proposed improvements; said bonds shall be serial, entending over a period of four(4) years from the second of January next succeeding their date, and shall be issued to represent assessments of Twenty-five (?5) Dollars or more remaining unpaid for Thirty (Z0) days after the date of the warrant'issued to the contractor , or five days after the decision of said Board of Trustees on as apTeal; and even annual prop- ortion of the principal sum of eachbond shall be payable, by coupon· on the second day of January of each year afters its birth and until the u~hole is paid, and interest shall be payable semi--annually by coupon on the second days of January and July, respectively, of each year at the rate of seven (7) percent perannum on all sums unpaid until the whol-e of said principal and interest is paid and said bonds shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of said "Improvement Act of 1911" and the amendments thereto. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of said work, together with the planS, and specifications therefor, conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door, invitinF sealed r~roposals or bids for doining the work ordered.
