This meeting was called to order by Trustee ~.A.Cunningham ~ho acted as Chairman Protem.in the absence of President of the Board G.VJ Holston. Roll-call Roll-call found the following Trustees present to wit; F.A. C~nniugha~, J.H. Kelley, George H. Wallace a Trustee J.G. Mc Goverm appeared aftern rollcall Absent Trustee G.W. Holston. Yhe ninutes of the previous meeting were read anfd upon motion of Trustee Kelle~ seconded by Trustee Wallace and regu~larl$ caried were approved as read. A co~unication was received frou t~e Board of T~ustees of the City of San Bruno ,asking that a committee be appointed to meet with their Board for the purpose of better represe ntin~ San Marco County at the Panama Pacific F_~xposition. Clerk ordered to request the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of San Bruno to be present at our next meeting. A con~nunication was received from E.H. ~.~iller acknowledgeing receipt of the request ~$de by the Board for an easement to cross their right of way at the foot of Liagnolia Avenue and the foot o~ Orange Avenue. Communication filed A communication was received from the Novelty Electric Sign Company acknowledgeing the order for a sign for the City of South S~n Francisco. Co~munication ordered filed A communication was received from W.H. Weeks Architect estimateing the number of from cubic yards of dirt removed ~e excavation of the library site to be Z600 yarAs~ 68~Per cubic yard. Communication placed on file A petition to set an Electric light pole on · referred to the City E ngineor. was received and Ordinance number 81. emtitled "An Ordinance of the City of South S~-n ~ancisco Creating the 0ffi~e of Deputy T~ Collectoer Providing for the ~ppointment of such Deputy Tax Collector and defining his duties" was read for the second reading and upon roll call was adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco by the following vote Ayes Trustees 2.A. Cunningham, j.H.Kelley, J.G. L~c Govern and George H. Wallace. Noes Trustees None Absent Trustees $.W. Holston William J. Smith City Clerk The following Resolution was then introduced by Trustee Mc G vern Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San FranciSco that that certain deed offered by South San ~rancisco Land and Improvment Conpany,a corporation to the Cl~y of South San Francisco an easement for the construction,maintenance and use of a public highway N~g~ upon and across the property of the said South San ~ranciscoland and Improvment Companyin said City of South San ?rancisco ,C~unty of San Mateo,State of California, and particularly described as follows ,to wit; A strip of ls~d sixty (605 feet in width a~d included between the southerly line of the southerly extention of Linden Avenue in the C~ty of Sguth San Francisco and the northerly line of Tanf, ran Avenue,being thirty ~30) feet on each side of a center line ~ru~nningh parallal to the westerly boundairy line of the right of way of the Southern ~acific Railroad Company at a distanceof thirty ~30) feet westerly there from,be, and the same hereb7 i~ ~*~s~ F.A.O.~nningha~u, J.H. Lindgren to purmhase the five ~5) Municipal sewer Bonds of the Cit yof South Sm San l~ranciseo,Numbers 158 ,1S9 ,160, 161,and 162,dated August 1,1913,for the sum of Five Thousand ($~000.00) and accrued intrest to date od delivery. Resolved by said Board of Trustees that the proposal of the said Charles J. Lind- gren be,and the same hereby is accepted and that said bonds be awarded ~o the said Chas. J Ltndgren ,and the City Treasurer is hereby directed to deliver said bonds to the said Chas. ~.
