A 0o~ication was received from ~eo Wallace, wherein he surrendered the class A liquor ltcense hel~ by him at 2~0 Or~ Avenue. The occultation was receive~ ~ held on file. A 0o~ioatlon was reoeive~ from J. Vierra wherein he asked that the class A liquor license held by him at 224 Or~ Avenue be tr~sfered ~o No. 205 ~r~d Avenue. The following bids were then read. Leach and De 0amp a total bid.of $39,381.91, a bid by lP. R. Ritchie and the total sum of $42,051.06, a bid from E. H. Sundberg in the total sum of $38,599.g5. It was moved by Trustee wallace seconded by Trustee ~lnningham that the matter of awarding_ the contract be laid over until the next meeting of the Board Monday December 27, 1915. Carried · The following demands against the City were presented for payment the same having benn approved by the finance committee: Chas. Dean cleaning city Jail, l~atrick Boil labor on street L. Varni removing garbage from back of City Hall Enterprise Publishing Company publishing notices inviting sealed purposes O. E. Dean cleaning up back of City Hall Bank of South San Francisco rent of safety deposit boxes No. 26, and 30 ~oe ~astro Burying dead horse B, J. Mullan Repairing, fire ~art .5O 12.50 1.00 41 · 40 : 2.00 6.50 ~.50 33.35, 99.75 and G. ~. Holston. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of Trustee Wallace and seconded by Trustee Cunningham .and regularly carried and approved, as read. A 0ommunication was received from Jeo Wallace, wherein he surrendered the class A liquor license held by him at 2£0 Grand Avenue. The communication was received and held on file. A 0ommunioation was received £rom J. Vierra wherein he asked that the class A liquor license held by him at 224 Grand Avenue be transfered to No. 205 Grand Avenue. Moved by Trustee Wallace seconded by Trustee ~unningham that the heari~ of said transfer be held on Monday December 27, 1~15. 0arried. The following applications for class A liquor licenses were received at this meeting ~. Ounningham. l~erac during the winter season fresh water accumulates to, the westward of the County Highway along Linden Avenue, in the City o~ South San Francisco, in such great Quantities as to endanger the foUndation of said highway: and Wheras it is necessary to take steps to protect the County Highway from the deter- iorating influence of the water: and ~kereas this condition can be remedied by the construction of an additional culvert under the tracks of the Bay Shore line of the Southern PacifiO Railroad: Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the aity of South San Francisoo that the Board of Supervisors be, and they hereby are requested to endeavor to have the Southern ~aoifio construct such culvert under their tracks. -o-o-ooo-o-o- o-o-o-o-o-o-o- o-o-o-o-o I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of South san.l~rancisc° this 20th day of December, 1915 by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Geo.
