CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING FOR THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF
OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL 39 UNIT DATED JULY 1,
2014 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2016
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 Unit dated July 1, 2014 through
June 30, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the MOU was prepared by the Human Resources Department, has been
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and incorporates the agreed upon terms and conditions
of employment for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 Unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the MOU for the International Union of
Operating Engineers, Local 39 Unit dated July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 10`h day of
September, 2014 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego,Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto
