Kelley "President of the Bo'ard of Trustees ". Ro~ 1-call Roll ca~l found the followi'n~ Trustees, present, to wit; P.A. Cunni gham ,~.F'. Healy, G.~. Holston,and J.H. Kelley. Absent G~-,o. H. Wsllace. The minutes of ~Ihe previous meeting wese read and upon motion Trustee Cunningham ~econded by Trustee Holst~n and reL~u].arly carried were a~proved as read. A communication was received from the Chamber of Co.,mmerce of Redwood City, asking that the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco endorse the project of building a vehicular bridge scro~'s the lo wer arm of the San Francisco Bay. Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Healy that the City Clerk be' instructed to notify the Redwood Cit~j Chamber o~ commerce ths:t the Board of Trustees of this City hcar.~ti!y endorse t the project. Carried A communication was re~eived from the South Cit~ Garage offering to ho~se the new fire appa-,r~t~ for the sum of Fifteen (15) Dollars var eyed hy Trustee Cunnin~ham seconded b~f Trustee Healy t~ tl~,e offer be accepted. Carried A communication was received from Ransome Crumm.y Corn?any asking tie permission ofthe Board of Cit~? N0.20 Whereas the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco did,on the 30th. day of August 1915,pass its Resolution of Intention NO. 20 for grading and theconstruction asphaltic concrete payment, concrete sidewalks, concrete eurbs and concrete gutters on M~gnolia ~Avenue between the north line of Baden ~venue and the South line o~ G rand Avenue and on Orange Avenue between the north line ogf Grand Avenue and the ~outh line of Miller Avenue in said City " under and pursusnt to the provisions of "The Immrovment Act Of 1911" and ~he amendments thereto, and to the resolutions,notices and other proceefings of said Ooard of Trustees duly adopted and taken, re~'erence to dsid Resolution of Intention mentioned sn8 for further particulars; and Whereas the contract for said work and improvment was duly swarded and thereafter duly comp] completed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent f Streets and this Board, whereupon a warrant, diagram ,and assessment were made, rscorded ~nd'delivered to the contractor, in time, form, and manner ~s required by said act , and the contractor having made return thereon and the sane having been duly reeorded; and Whereas on the 6th. day of July, 1916, the ?uperintendent o~ Streets of said City of South San Francisco m~de ond filed with the Clerk of this Bo~rd s complete list of all assessments unpaid thereunder upon the respectives assessments or diagram numbers thereon , .whereopon said ~lerk gave notice o£ the filing of szid list, having fixed in said notice , Monday ~he ?th. da~ of August ~916, at the hour of eight 0 ' c~ock p.m. as the time when interested persons moght appear before ~Board o~ Trustees and show cause v~hy bonds should no~ beissued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said list,s~id time being thst of ~ regular meeting o.f said Board; and it appearing from the affidavit of William J.
