This meeting was called to order at 8' 0 Clock P.I~. , by Trustee J.H. Kelley "President of the Bosrd.". ~olt'~, ~.call Roll call found the following True'tees,present, to wit; ~i.F. Healy, G.W. Holston, Geo. W~lllace and J.H. Kelley. ~.bsent Trustee Cumingham. The minutes of the two previous meetings were read and upon motion of Trustee Healy seconded by Trustee Holston and re~Tularly carried were al'proved as read. A Communication was received from Willian D. Lynce wherein he surrendered the class Liquor license held by him st the Gr,-nd .~otel he having sold the business to R.G. B~ moved by Trustee Wallace seconded b~f Trustee Hcsly theft the communication be received and placed on file. Carried An application for a "class A" liquor license wfrom R.~G. Burns was then read the vlace where the business was to be conducted being the Grand Hotel Bldg 725 San Bruno Road and accom parting the said application was a bond in favor of the City of South ~San Francisco in the peml sum of One Thousand Dollars for the faithful comI~.liance with ordinance #59 by tho applicant, and the applicant having complied in all respects with the provisions of said ordinance he was granted a permit for ~ class A liquor license for the balance of tho term ending December 31,1916. It was moved b~.., Trustee ~',a__l~ce seconded y Trustee Holston tn, ~ tlc Chairman avpoint a co~.mittee to ]o~k into tho merits of the proposed ~ehicular bridge across S.F. Bay as proposed by the Chamber of Commerce of Redwood City. Carried The Chairman then a~::.pointed ~he five City Trustees to act in the matter. It was moved by Trustee Ne&l~ce ~'econde~ by Trustee ;~allace that a free telephone be installed in the home of Chas . ti. Woodman a member of the volunteer fire dept. Carried The City Hsrshal was authorized to purchase 6 signal ~osts for street corners. ~oved by Trustee Holston ~econded b~ Trustee Wsllace that the City Zarsh~l be instructed to inform contractors that they must not block the street with material during the construction of a building.
