Kelley "P~'esident of the Beard". Roll-call £~oll-¢all found tl~e followi~ng Trustees prese'nt,to wi~t; F.A~ Cunningham,G.W. Holston, and J.H. Kelley. Trustee Healy appeared after roll-call. Absent Trustees Yalla~e T he red, ding of the~inutes of the previousmeeting were dispensed with. An application was received from Monize and Bilyard for z permit to conduct ~ boxing exhibitions during the month of november;1916. 'MoVed by Trustee Cunningham seconded by' Trustee Holston that the permission be granted. Carried An application was received from the Pac. Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on Railroad Avenue as per blue print SA8-R for the purpose of supplying service to the 0ity Street Improvment Co. ~oved by Trustee Healy seconded by Trustee ~olston that the permission be ~ranted. Carried An application was received from Mrs H. Enoth for a ~ight to be place~ on ~iaple Avenue between Grand and Baden Avenues. Upon motion of Trustee ~unningham seconded by Trustee Holston an.d regularly carried the m~tter w was laid over until~ t'he next meeting of the Board. A communication was receiwed from The Borroughs ~ddihg' m~chin~ company demanding that the sum Four dog,ars and fifty -cents be paid whic~ sum had been ~ de~di~e~d'.~by~the finance committee for discount on bi~l. ~pon motion of Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Holston and regularly carried the City Clerk was authorized to p~y the amount. Carried Atty. ~ communication was received fromGeo. J. Steiger Jr. in reference to allged damages by G.Poulos on account of the extending of Grand Avenue to the ;,fission Road. The communic'ation was refered to the City Attorney for advice .' A communication was received from E.C. Peck protesting aga. inst the Spring Valley Water ~iain in front of the mroperty of the South City ]lot Company in South San Francisco, as it prevented the ssid company from laying sidewalks on the ~a~dBruno Road as r~er their contracts to pt~rchasers of lots. Fund · he report of the City Treasurer checked with that of the City Clerk The report of the City Recorder was also received showing that the amount of $~.2~ had been received through his office during the month of October 1918 , for which he emcl~oses check A report was also received from the City Health Officer showing that the general health of the City wes in good condition. Moved by Trustee ~unninghan seconded ~y Trustee Healy that the reports of all City of- ricers received at this meeting be accepted and placed on file.
