Whereas the Board of Trustees of the City of South Sen Frs.ncisco did, in open secssion, on the llth day of December 1916, publicly open, examine &nd declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work£n said City to-wit: The cleanin~ of 611 paved streets, culverts and catchbasins within saia city £ir the period of one year. ~11 s~id street cleanin~ work must be done in strict com~liance wi~h ~ne specifications ~d- opted by s~id Board of Trustees on the 20th day of November, ~.16, and now on file in the o fice of the City Clerk. The s,leeessful bidder shall within five (5) days after the award enter into a contract with th~ City of £o~th San Francisco for the faithful performance of work to bo done under said awzrd. Resolved thet s~i~ qo~rd of Trustees hereby rejects all proposals or bids, ~;cept that next her inafter mentioned £nd h~reby awards the contract for doing s~id work ~nd i~provement to Lhe lowest reasonable bidder to wit~ H. McNahon, at the price nsmea in his one hundred forty gollar bid . The President of the Board of Trustees of tho City of South Szn Francsco, and the City C~erk are hereby euthorized ~nd directed,in the name o~! said City of South S~n Francisco and und~ its corporztion seal, to enter into an ~greement with said H. McE~hon for doing said work.
