Whereas the South Sen h'rancisco Land ~nd Improvement Company, a corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of C&lifornia, has laid out into lots a tract or subdiv-
ision of land lying within the City of South San Francisco end has causedan accurate map to be
mede sf said tract or subdivision of land for the purpose of selling lots by reference to said
map: end
Whereas said South San Francisco Land end Improvement Company, the 'owner of said tract of

California, end
Whereas sai~ South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company has presented said map to the
Board' of TruStees of the City of South S~n Francisco for the approval of Said Board, as required
by law;
Resolved by the Board of Trusteew of the City of South San Francisco that said map be, and the
same hereby is referred to the City Engineer of the City of South San Francisco for his con-
sideration, there being no city Dlsnning commission in said city.

I, Geo~geA. Kneese, City Engineer of the City of 9outh San Francisco, do report to the ~oard of
the City ~f South San Francisco, concerning the map of HIGH S~H00L PARK EDITION as follows:
Upon the submiss~o~? ®~ said map to meby the Board of Trustees of the City of South San
~rancisco I have carefully examined the same and I find that the parcels of land indicated

thereon for highwsy purposes are as wide as and conform to the surrounding and neighboring
streets and hi_~hways. I further find that said map has been properly made and that it
conforms with the provisions of the law ~overing maps of subdivision of land made for the
purpose of se~.ling lots by ~'eference to such maps. I recomment the approval of said map
bN the Board Sf .Trustees of the City of 8outh San ~rancis¢o.

RESOLUTION APPROVING MAP 0F HIGH SCHOOL PARK ADDITION
AND ACCEPTING DEDICATION.
Whereas lhe South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation organ-
ized and existing under the laws of the State of C~lifornia, as owner, has laid out into lots
a tract or subdivSsion of land lying within the City of South San Francisco ~nd h~s caused
an accurate map to be,~made of said tract or ~ubdivision for the purpose of selling lots by
reference to said map, which said map has been designated as HIGH SCHOQL PARK ADDITION, and
Whereas said South San francisco Land and Improvement Company, the owner of said tract,
proposed to file said map in the office of the County Recorder o~ the County of San Mateo; and
Whereas said map has been referred, heretofore, to the City. Engineer of the City of
South San Francisco for his consideration and
Whereas said City Engineer has made his repirt in writing to said Board o~ Trustees,
as recuired by law, in which report said map is appzoved, which report is now on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said City; and
Whereas said Board of Trustees has f~lly considered the report of said City
Engineer and said map; and
Whereas said South San Francisco land ~nd Improvement Company has offered to dedicate
to public use the following streets, roads and highways designated upon said map ~s Spruce
Avenue, Pine Terrase, Walnut ~venue, Park Way, Lux Avenue and High Street, and has also of£-
ered to dedicate to ~blic use for the purposes of laying and constructing therein sewers,.
water mains, gas mains, conduits to enclose and carry telephone wires and wires for the
transmission of electrical energy and for the purpose of erecting p~-les therein to support

poses than those herein before enumerated, all other uses being reserved to said South

Be it further resolved that s~id respective offers of dedication hereinbefore referred
to be, and the s~me hereby are accepted on behalf of the public.
The City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to endorse upon s~id map a staSement that
said map has been ~pproved by s~id Board of Trustees ~nd that the Streets ~nd highwzys and other
parce2s of land offered for dedication are accepted on behalf of the public.
